Dub Poet/Spoken Word artist, Ras Mykkal has released an inspirational letter to President Barack Obama of the United States of America and set it to a smooth reggae beat.
Ras is a poet who also crosses over into spoken word and fuses reggae with jazz, blues and rock to get his messages to the masses. This track speaks to the historic milestone of a first black American President, but focuses more on the importance of the need for unity with in the U.S.A., as well as the importance of building better relation with other nations. This single, available as a digital file for the most part, might be the best “Obama” song to date.
